Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Ashburn, VA seeks an experienced Project/Program Manager to balance project delivery with leadership responsibilities. You will lead Projects Managers and Project Coordinators, mentor the team, and ensure programs align with the company culture and strategic goals.

This role requires strong communication, budgeting, risk management, and the ability to mentor teams while driving process improvements and governance across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evaluate the performance of Projects Managers and Project Coordinators, etc.
• Manage Program Governance by reviewing process methodology and identifying improvements.
• Oversee multiple Project Teams to ensure Program Goals are achieved.
• Support management with procurement, staff utilization, sales, and forecasting.
• Develop strong client relationships through scheduling, forecasting, and reporting.
• Mentor the Project Team in delivery and act as escalation point for issues or risks.
• Lead root cause analysis of project-related issues.
• Monitor status and progress of all projects and communicate updates to leadership.

Job description

Project delivery will form part of this role however, your time will be shared between project delivery and the responsibilities outlined below.Ensure all projects in the program are delivered in line with the culture and ethos of the company.Lead and evaluate the performance of Projects Managers and Project Coordinators etc. working on your Team and support the recruitment process for vacant PMO positions when necessary.Mentor and support the Project Team in the delivery of their projects and act as a point of escalation for serious issues or risks as and when they are identified.Lead root cause analysis of Project related issues.Manage Program Governance by review of process methodology and identify areas of improvement through process revision and automation, ensuring all projects are delivered as efficiently as possible.Oversee multiple Project Teams, ensuring Program Goals are achieved.Support the Management Team in making informed decisions on Procurement, Staff Utilization, Sales, and Forecasting.Monitor the status and progress of all Projects in your care and effectively communicate this information with the Management Team, keeping them informed of potential opportunities for / risks to the business.Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through active engagement on scheduling, forecasting, and reporting etc.Required:Project / Program Management CertifiedHigh-level management and leadership skills.Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively.Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.Risk management.Written and verbal communication skills.Cost control and budgeting skills.Teamwork and motivational skills.Organizational and multitasking skills.Desired:Previous experience working in a Data Center or a Critical Power Environment3+ years of Project / Program Management experience.
