Job summary

Damar Services in Indiana is seeking a Program Manager - Evaluation Services to oversee the diagnostic and evaluation program, supervise staff, and drive performance and compliance. You will partner with community stakeholders and ensure high-quality service delivery and data integrity in the EHR system.

The role requires leadership experience in social services, a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred), and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a social services or related field, including experience overseeing program operations and supervising staff.
• Experience with program compliance, documentation auditing, electronic health records, and/or billing-related processes preferred.
• Trauma informed care and de-escalation training.
• Ability to pass and maintain CPR Certification.
• Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving).
• Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening.

Responsibilities

• Attends mandatory staff meetings and other meetings as assigned.
• Regularly participates in community meetings and consortiums.
• Collaborates with referral partners and other stakeholders.
• Represents Damar at community events and conducts outreach to community partners.
• Manages program operations to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, licensing, contractual, and organizational standards.
• Monitors and evaluates program performance, service delivery, and outcomes to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Oversees the accuracy, completeness, and timely management of program data within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Manages assigned staff, including establishing performance expectations, providing ongoing coaching and development, and ensuring accountability.
• Assigns and monitors work to ensure responsibilities are completed accurately and timely.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates program processes and workflows to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and program outcome.
• Conducts employee performance evaluations, addresses performance concerns, and implements corrective action as appropriate.
• Manages staffing schedules and coverage to support program operations and advises leadership on staffing needs.
• Conducts regular file audits to ensure alignment of billable hours, progress notes, invoices, and other reporting documentation.
• Maintains documentation that is accurate and legible.
• Establishes and monitors program performance expectations and operational goals in collaboration with leadership.
