Job summary

AQUARIUS in Mason, OH is seeking a Program Manager (Engine Tooling) to lead cross-functional efforts from concept through product launch and to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

You will own program plans, coordinate with sales, supply chain, and OEMs, monitor financials, forecast demand, and align initiatives with the company’s business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering required or related field.
  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and market analysis skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a matrixed environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, data mining, forecasting and analytical modeling are needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy for the program aligned with business targets.
  • Create program plans with timelines, milestones and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with sales, supply chain, logistics and customer support.
  • Monitor and report on program financials including market share, cost, revenue and profitability.

  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies and resolve issues.
  • Lead regular program status meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Gather customer and market feedback to inform tooling portfolio development.
  • Cultivate relationships with engine OEMs to influence product direction and secure partnerships.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and define objectives and deliverables.

What you will be doing as the Program Manager (Engine Tooling):
  • Develop a growth strategy for your program while ensuring alignment with business growth and profitability targets.
  • Develop program plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation necessary to achieve the growth strategy of the program.
  • Leverage sales, supply chain, logistics and customer support functional teams while holding yourself and others accountable to delivering on your strategy and commitment to reaching the goal of the program and business.
  • Monitor and report on program financials, including market share, cost performance, revenue generation, and profitability.
  • Forecast demand and recommend adjustments to strategy or execution plans as needed.
  • Manage the beginning-to-end program lifecycle, from concept development to product launch.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular program status meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and resolve project-related challenges.
  • Gather and interpret customer and market feedback to inform tooling portfolio development and enhancements.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with engine OEMs to influence product direction, gain market intelligence, and secure strategic partnerships.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define program objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Align program strategy with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
What you will need as the Program Manager (Engine Tooling):
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or a related field (MBA or equivalent experience preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in programming management, product strategy, or business development, preferably within the aerospace sectors
  • Strong analytical, statistical and financial acumen; experience with market analysis
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a matrixed environment
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, complex formulas, data visualization, and scenario analysis (VBA coding preferred). Must be capable of performing data mining, forecasting, and analytical modeling to extract insights from complex data sets and develop strategies supported by quantitative analysis.
  • Experience working with Aerospace OEMs and understanding their product development cycles and requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both internal teams and external customers, partners, and OEMs.
  • Proficient in reviewing, understanding, and drafting agreements and contracts, including terms related to pricing, intellectual property, supply, and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management, customer experience principles, program management and best practices.
  • Proficiency in customer segmentation, journey mapping, and developing targeted engagement strategies.
  • Project management skills to lead the implementation of new programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
