Job summary

Openwork is seeking a Program Manager in Southeast Houston to lead cross-functional teams and drive product rollouts in a high-visibility role. You will manage project plans, budgets, and resources while interfacing with customers and internal teams as the primary point of contact across all phases.

Required 3+ years in electronic manufacturing; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in electronic manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of electronic manufacturing processes, technologies, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Charts/Graphs), ERP systems, and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, quality control) to ensure alignment and progress.
• Interfacing with customers and internal teams as the primary point of contact throughout all phases of assigned projects.
• Identifying project risks and developing effective mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitoring key performance metrics and tracking costs throughout the project lifecycle to maintain profitability.
• Overseeing the successful rollout of products to customers prior to the start of manufacturing.
• Preparing reports and working with customers on reducing excess inventory.
