About the Position

This full-time, remote position will work closely with the Director of Fund for Leaders and relevant staff on the Young Adult Communities team to activate and engage core membership, recruit, develop, and deploy church leadership, and create, grow, and maintain an online leadership network platform. Responsibilities include communication, resource sharing, logistics coordination, program development, and fostering partnerships across the ELCA ecology, especially with camps, campus ministries, and synod candidacy staff.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in young adult ministry, program development, network engagement, communication, or related fields.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Experience with network management software and social media platforms.
• Knowledge of ELCA’s mission and passion for working with diverse communities.
• Ability to work with multiple constituencies, including multicultural communities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media tools.

Physical & Travel Requirements

Regular talking, hearing, using hands, sitting for long periods; occasional lifting up to 15 pounds. Minimal travel required, valid driver’s license needed.
