Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs and manages day-to-day activities,developing and implementing procedures for the administration ofthe program
• Assists in developing strategic plans and goals to support theprogram.
• Assists with the development and production of materialsdesigned for the program
• Develops and conduct programs including leadership training,conferences, seminars and workshops
• Supervises program support staff and studentassistants
• Assists with yearly budgetary and contract processes. Prepares vouchers, purchase orders and requisition and coordinate with accounting personnel and other support staff
• Researches, develops and writes white papers, grantapplications and prepares presentations. Maintains and developscommunications between partners by attending meetings and conference calls.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director with administrative duties of theDepartment including, but not limited to, budget management, preparation of accreditation and university reports, newfaculty/staff orientation, tracking faculty workloads, and otherrequested tasks.
• Directing phone calls, greeting guests, providing facilitytours and program admission information to prospectivestudents.
• Download and score student applications from PTCAS and scheduleverified applicants for interviews. Provide follow-upcorrespondence to each applicant as needed, based on admissiondecisions provided by the program faculty.
• Schedule faculty meetings and other appointments/meetings with Program Director as needed. Record, transcribe, and distributeminutes from these meetings.
