Compudopt is seeking a detail-oriented, self-starter Program Manager for its National team. This full-time position is critical to the success of our organizational operations, our ability to execute programs, and to serve youth and families throughout the US. Overall, this position is responsible for the computer distributions, community outreach, and inventory management. This role reports to the Program Director-National. The candidate may be located anywhere in the United States. This position requires approximately 50% nationwide travel.
The Program Manager - Distribution must act with integrity, be committed to achieving organizational goals, take responsibility for mission achievement, demonstrate accountability by starting with yes, and demonstrate the ability to inspire, grow, and motivate others.
Major Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Build relationships with community-based organizations, local schools, districts, churches, etc. to create awareness and garner support for Compudopt’s mission and work within the community
- Gather and analyze city data to determine areas of need.
- Secure shipping locations for computer national computer distributions.
- Work with the National Program Director to secure devices needed to fulfill distributions.
- Responsible for creating new lottery lists and updating existing ones
- Identify local media outlets and opportunities for outreach and exposure, and identify collateral needed to cultivate computer giveaway lists.
- Responsible for all logistics and scheduling of all national computer distributions.
- Research, assess, and hire third-party vendors for events, such as catering, music, photographers, decorations, etc.
- Quality check completed devices for cleanliness and quality standards for distribution.
- Facilitate shipment and delivery of equipment to the distribution site.
- Serve as the primary contact for the majority of national distributions.
- Track and assess inventory, attendance data, attrition rates, and other data points.
- Provide data reports to the Program Director as needed.
- Assist Program Director with training of national and regional staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Required:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years' experience in customer service, event planning, and/or community engagement.
- Minimum of two years' experience in partnership negotiation, and/or relationship building.
Preferred:- Three plus years of experience in customer service or event planning within a nonprofit setting.
Special Knowledge/Skills:- Ability to perform duties with minimal assistance.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs 10 to 15 times per day
- Strong interest in technology and STEM education fields as well as a commitment to working in nonprofit and or youth development field.
- Collaborative, results-oriented, positive, and energetic team player who is highly organized, detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid professional and ethical judgment
- Eager to work in a fast-paced, small nonprofit environment with the opportunity to work across all departments and locations

Salary is one component of Compudopt’s total compensation package, which also includes:
