Job summary

Google LLC in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a Program Manager for Data Center Construction to lead multi-discipline projects from concept to deployment. You will coordinate with engineering, construction managers, and external vendors to keep programs on schedule, meet safety standards, and stay within budget.

The role requires 8 years in program/project management and 5 years with technical teams involved in data center facilities, electrical, mechanical, and infrastructure work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program or project management.
• 5 years of experience with technical teams responsible for project management, engineering, and construction of data centers or mission critical facilities.
• 5 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple data center construction programs from concept development and design through execution and deployment.
• Gather technical and operational requirements, translating them into executable infrastructure solutions for data center facility operations.
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, construction managers, contractors, and external vendors to maintain project momentum and resolve site challenges.
• Drive program governance, schedule tracking, risk mitigation, and executive reporting for leadership and delivery partners.
• Evaluate complex construction and facility challenges, implementing scalable solutions to protect delivery timelines, safety, and budget.
