Google is seeking a Data Center Program Manager to lead the capital improvements portfolio across multiple sites, coordinating planning, execution, governance, and delivery with cross-functional teams.

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
The data center capital improvements portfolio ranging from hundreds of thousands to hundreds of millions across multiple concurrent projects. Initiatives range from targeted network installations to complex critical infrastructure retrofits. Operating with a zero‑disruption mandate, the role advances strategic business priorities, mitigates operational risk, and ensures reliability, safety, and sustainability across campus assets.
As a Data Center Program Manager, you hold full ownership and accountability for the planning, execution, governance, and delivery of the capital improvements portfolio across your sites. Directing key interfaces between building operations and the capital improvements Program Management Office (PMO), you will drive vendor performance, quality, and productivity, align cross‑functional teams, and maintain high standards of operational excellence.
