The Program Manager is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and oversight of the Lee Health Stroke Program. In collaboration with medical and clinical leaders, is responsible for the interdisciplinary leadership of clinical excellence in stroke care across Lee Health. Functions as a key decision maker for the interdisciplinary team, which is responsible for monitoring and improving program performance. Conducts detailed analysis and collaborates with other organization leaders and Medical Staff in setting priorities for the comprehensive and primary stroke center development. Develops and facilitates ongoing community and professional education programs. Initiates and manages operations associated with facilitating performance improvement teams and serves as a liaison for stroke program related issues. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that consistent standards guide the provision of patient care where care is provided. Actively serves as a staff and patient advocate.

Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors degree in nursing required, masters degree in nursing or other Healthcare related field and/or Business Administration preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in neuroscience nursing or neuroscience related nursing field. Leadership experience in related field preferred. Previous Primary Stroke Center or program management experience preferred.

Certification: ACLS required. SCRN, CNRN required within (1) year of employment.

License: Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida

Other: Demonstrated success in the application of program development and operations, performance improvement methodologies, project team facilitation and/or systems development applications. Analytical skills to monitor program applications and processes for effectiveness. Strategic skills to monitor subspecialty trends and developments for program relevance. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
