Job summary

BAMSI is seeking a dedicated program supervisor to oversee residential services for adults with disabilities in Massachusetts. The role emphasizes coordinating care, supervising staff, and ensuring program operations meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include care planning, staff development, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols, with on-going collaboration across departments and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in related field and 1 year in a supervisory role; or 2 years in related field.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in state of residence.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to use electronic time/attendance software.
• Effective critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the program including coordination of care and support as well as program operations and supervision.
• Perform duties with a team approach; collaborate with Nurse Manager, staff, nurses and upper management as applicable.
• Interview and hire prospective employees and complete required hiring documentation.
• Provide ongoing supervision, staff meetings, training and professional development of staff.
• Attend BAMSI Leadership Meetings and Management Trainings with dissemination of materials at the program level.
• Ensure program coverage in accordance with funding source standards.
• Follow funder and agency protocol for reporting significant incidents and alleged abuse and/or neglect.
• Ensure highest quality safety standards and infection control protocols.
