SMA Healthcare in Florida seeks an experienced leader to direct admission, assessment, and treatment services for participants, coordinating with psychiatrists and staff to ensure quality care. The role includes staff supervision, training, budgeting, and maintaining compliant records in line with policies and Medicaid requirements.
Required qualifications include a Master’s in psychology, social work, or related field, Florida licensure as MH Counselor/CSSW/LMFT, and supervisory experience.

Graduation from an accredited school with a Master's degree in psychology, social work, psychiatric rehabilitation or a related human services discipline required. Licensed in Florida as a Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage OR Family Therapist required. Three years of experience working with children/adolescents with behavioral health needs preferred. Three years of supervisory experience preferred.
Possession of a valid Florida driver's license, acceptable drivingrecord, and proof of personal automobile insurance if required to drive anSMA vehicle and/or use a personal vehicle for SMA business. Complete State ofFlorida mandatory background screening prior to start of employment. Complete SMA required training during thefirst six (6) months of employment and updated if required.
Mobility and ability to bend andreach during an 8-12 hour day. Able to lift minimum 10 pounds. Visual andauditory acuity sufficient to evaluate, intervene, treat, and record clienthealth care needs. Fine motor skillsfor legible and accurate writing of reports, charting, scheduling, dailycorrespondence and presentation. Workendurance ability to work an 8 to 13 hour day with a lunch break aspossible. Routine 8 to 12 hourshifts. Hours and days off mayvary. Weekend and after hour coveragewill be required. Extra hours/rotationof shift may be required. On callduties will be required.
