Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh’s CGM unit seeks a Research Program Coordinator to lead the Pluralism360@Pitt program and other initiatives. You will coordinate complex projects, supervise staff, and ensure timely outputs aligned with grant commitments.

You’ll work with faculty, university units, and external partners across Pittsburgh and the tri-state area, promoting value pluralism, civil discourse, and rigorous research operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in political science, philosophy, economics, social sciences, or related field.
• Experience coordinating across external partners, subcontractors, or institutional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with philosophy, politics, and economics frameworks via academic or professional work.
• Strong relationship-building across diverse communities, institutions, and ideological perspectives.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience with project management tools and digital documentation systems.
• Comfort working in a university-based research environment with diverse viewpoints.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day coordination of the Pluralism360@Pitt program and other CGM research initiatives.
• Maintain continuity across all project components and monitor milestones.
• Ensure timely delivery of outputs in accordance with grant commitments.
• Coordinate with CGM leadership and Pitt’s OSP for grant compliance and reporting.
• Manage internal project management systems and digital repositories.
