Job Overview

The Program Manager for Large Campus Programs in the Center of Student Involvement has the primary responsibility of the advisement and on-going development of the student programming board. Additionally, they will support the Center for Student Involvement and the Division of Student Affairs programming efforts.

Essential Functions

Programs & Activities Council

  • Serve as primary advising for the Programs & Activities Council
  • Provide students with opportunities to develop leadership and programming skills
  • Ensure compliance with UC and campus policies and procedures
  • Provide direction for the planning and promotion of events and activities
  • Address risk management concerns
  • Develop and implement assessment mechanisms
  • Weekly one on one meetings with student leaders
  • Attend weekly evening meetings

Programming

  • Support and execute a wide range of events and activities for the Center for Student Involvement & Division of Student Affairs
  • Develop cooperative relationships with all university departments in support of the Center for Student Involvement
  • Recognize and mitigate risk associated with event management
  • Serve as a policy expert for event planning and management on campus
  • Serve on any necessary committees for large campus programming

Center for Student Involvement

  • Manage operational expenses within an established budget
  • Assist with coordination/execution of necessary trainings
  • Assist in efforts to achieve annual CSI office-wide goals
  • Other duties as discussed

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

  • Three (3) years of relevant experience
