Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Manager of Cancer Surveillance Data Systems Informatics within the Office of the Director, New Jersey State Cancer Registry at the Rutgers Cancer Institute.
The Program Manager of Cancer Surveillance Data Systems and Informatics at the New Jersey State Cancer Registry oversees all operational and programmatic aspects of data collection, data processing, and systems integration for New Jersey’s statewide cancer surveillance system. The incumbent works closely with the Director of Cancer Epidemiology Services/New Jersey State Cancer Registry, Deputy Director of Cancer Surveillance Research, Rutgers information technology, and other senior staff to manage and fulfill deliverables of the Center of Excellence for Cancer Surveillance, which was formed through a partnership between the New Jersey Department of Health and the Rutgers Cancer Institute.
The Program Manager of Cancer Surveillance Data Systems and Informatics also works closely with partners from local, state, and national agencies, including but not limited to the New Jersey Department of Health, the National Cancer Institute’s Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program; the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Program of Cancer Registries (NPCR); the North American Association of Central Cancer Registries (NAACCR); and the National Cancer Registrar’s Association (NCRA).
