Amazon is looking for a Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven program management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional programs in Data Center Operations.

This location is within AWS GovCloud region - Effective May 15, 2017, logical access to the AWS GovCloud region will be restricted to Amazon employees who are U.S. Citizens (GovCloud may NOT be accessed from outside of the United States).

This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to management on status, risks and process changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive program management experience, combined with deep analytical capabilities and a keen sense of innovation, to lead programs from conception to completion.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.   • Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including colleagues and leadership, or experience managing teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure / operations experience
  • Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery
  • Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams and standard operating procedures
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA
  • Experience in data center engineering or operations, or experience in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications, or experience in construction or project management
