Overview

JST is currently seeking a Program Manager - APSO (Acquisition function) to join our team. This is a full-time Onsite position with potential hybrid/remote work at Defense Health Agency (DHA) headquarters, Virginia. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment, and a strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Professional Qualities

The Program Manager - APSO (Acquisition function) shall be professional in demeanor, appearance, and deportment. Employees shall be responsive and may need to interface with senior Government and industry officials. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and Adobe Acrobat.

Program Manager Responsibilities
  1. Demonstrate strong communication skills.
  2. Manage large projects across complex organizations with diverse stakeholders, high visibility, impact, and risk, requiring complex reporting and communication at agency and executive levels.
  3. Utilize project management principles in DoD/MHS-related areas.
  4. Visualize and articulate complex concepts and solve complex problems, including analyzing information, designing, and testing solutions.
  5. Oversee the acquisition process.
  6. Understand Integrative Acquisition Environment and DOD acquisition policies and procedures.
  7. Provide expert technical advice, staff coordination, and consultation to foster guideline development, new developments, and interpretation.
  8. Understand change management principles.
  9. Deliver exceptional written and oral communication, including formal presentations to diverse audiences.
Program Manager Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree required.
  2. Project Management Professional (PMP or equivalent) certification required.
  3. Experience managing large projects in complex organizations with diverse stakeholders, high impact, and risk, requiring complex reporting.
  4. Experience in Acquisition Processes.
  5. Minimum of 5 years' experience in Federal space or DoD in Program Management.
  6. Knowledge of Integrative Acquisition Environment and DOD policies and procedures.
  7. Active secret clearance required.
  8. Experience with DoD Project Management acquisition programs.
Clearances and Screenings
  • Must pass a US Government Security Clearance.
  • Must have an active secret clearance.
