GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Program Manager ensures the quality of Journey Found programs by coordinating the daily activities and programs for all the People Supported in accordance with Journey Found policies and procedures. Adheres to the mission, vision, and values of Journey Found and conducts him/herself within standards of professional conduct of his/her program, division, and the organization. Performs other duties, responsibilities, and projects at any program or location as assigned by a supervisor, Director of Support Services, or other management member. Adheres to the Journey Found Policy & Procedure which protects the privacy and security of consumer health information.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Direct Support Responsibilities. A portion of every week will be spent performing direct care work. This includes managing groups of individuals in the program and community, providing safe transportation outside the residence, assisting with personal care and activities of daily living, performing housework, and implementing skill-building programs and behavior support plans.
- Provides therapeutic support. Provides the People Supported with an intensive therapeutic program designed to enhance community acceptance and increase their level of independence. This involves areas such as self-care, community integration, and activities of daily living, scheduled and carried out in the home and community.
- Schedules. Provides current program/staff schedule as requested by the Director of Support Services.
- Communication. Coordinates communication between the program(s) and the interdisciplinary team to ensure members have the necessary information and access for proper care.
- Financial responsibilities. Coordinates expenditures and maintains a budget on appropriate lines in conjunction with the Assistant Controller. Provides a Direct Care Expense Report (DCER) according to timelines.
- Meets as needed with the Administrative Team.
- Attends all scheduled meetings including Program Managers, staff, clinical, and IP meetings.
- Conducts monthly house and consumer meetings and quarterly staff meetings.
- Ensures implementation of all treatment and behavior plans, teaching strategies, and safety protocols, with regular documentation and reporting to the IDT.
- Supports the health and well-being of the People Supported by assisting with environment maintenance, hygiene, clothing, and record-keeping of social and medical information.
- Maintains confidentiality of all PHI under HIPAA guidelines and employs restrictive procedures only as specified in treatment plans.
- Supervises direct care staff regularly.
- Adheres to safety practices and maintains a safe environment.
- Cooperates with special requirements from leadership.
- Assists staff in developing routines, schedules, and procedures to meet IP goals.
- Responsible for planning, development, performance evaluation, and on-call duties.
- Maintains electronic media security and returns media when appropriate.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:
- Computer literacy with skills in Word, Excel, & Outlook.
- Minimum of two years' experience in the Human Services Field.
- Behavioral Management experience and/or training.
- BA/BS in Human Services, ABA, or related field preferred.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must be free from communicable diseases.
- At least 3 years of driving experience with a valid driver’s license.
Essential Physical Requirements: Ability to move independently across various environments, some inaccessible by wheelchair. Independent transportation may be necessary. Reasonable accommodations will be provided unless it causes undue hardship.
