Job description
Overview

At Koala Health, we have our eyes set on an ambitious goal: to make managing your pet’s health simple and delightful. We’ve already launched our pharmacy service that allows people to shop for their pets’ medications and supplements online and get them delivered to their doorstep in presorted medication pouches. Now we’re focused on continuing to improve that experience while building a suite of new products and services that will make the pet health experience even better.

We are seeking a Program Manager to drive growth initiatives and operational programs across Koala Health’s partner network. This role has two primary areas of responsibility. The Program Manager will own the relationship with new partners in their first year of partnership, implementing all growth programs and ensuring early results before practices transition to long-term Account Manager support. The Program Manager will also lead the rollout of newly developed growth programs across established practices in the network, partnering closely with Account Managers to ensure adoption and consistency.

This position emphasizes program execution, cross-functional coordination, and measurable outcomes. Success will be defined by helping practices strengthen client engagement, increase prescription adherence, and improve operational performance.

Responsibilities
  • Own first year partner relationships and ensure all growth programs are fully implemented
  • Drive adoption of operational strategies that improve compliance, client engagement, and practice performance
  • Lead rollout of new growth programs across established partners in partnership with Account Managers
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives consistently and at scale
  • Develop and refine scalable processes to ensure programs are executed efficiently across multiple sites
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and refine programs to maximize impact
  • Build strong relationships with practice leaders and staff to secure engagement and alignment throughout program execution
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes clearly to internal stakeholders and partner practices
Qualifications and Attributes for Success
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, operations, or practice management, ideally in a veterinary, healthcare, or multi-site environment
  • Demonstrated success managing operational initiatives and delivering measurable growth outcomes
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs under tight timelines
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in veterinary medicine or adjacent industries strongly preferred
  • Highly organized with a bias toward action and measurable results
  • Fast moving, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment
  • Skilled at building trust and fostering collaboration across internal teams and external partners
Why You\'ll Love Koala Health
  • Meaningful mission helping modernize pet health
  • Remote-first culture built on flexibility and trust
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance with partial dependent coverage
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 401(k) plan available immediately
  • Supportive, energetic team that celebrates wins and learns fast

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 a year
