Brian Grant Foundation is seeking a Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of wellness and community support programs. The role partners with the Executive Director to translate strategic priorities into accessible experiences, online and in-person.

TheProgramManagerleads the day-to-day planning, operationalimplementation, coordination, and data-informed evaluation of BGF’s portfolio of wellness and community support programs. Working in close partnership with the Executive Director, the Program Manager translates strategic priorities into accessible, engaging, and participant-centered experiences—both online and in-person.

The Program Manager will oftencollaborate cross-functionally across the organization. This includes working withthe:
Program Strategy, Operations & Delivery
Program Oversight & Delivery:Oversee the end-to-end planning,logistics, scheduling, and delivery of virtual and in-person programs.
Strategic Alignment:Partner closely with the Executive Directorand theProgram Advisory Councilto refine existing offerings and launch new evidence-based program initiatives.
Technical & AV Execution:Set up, test, troubleshoot, andoperateaudiovisual (AV) equipment, live-streaming software, and hybrid meeting technologies to ensure seamless virtual and in-person participant experiences.
Budget Management:Develop and manage annual program budgets in coordination with leadership; monitor program-related expenditures and evaluate budget performance on aquarterlybasis.
Data Infrastructure:Lead the collection, organization, and ongoing management of program data across all virtual and in-person touchpoints (attendance, engagement metrics, surveys).
Data-Informed Decision Making:In partnership with the Executive Director,establishbenchmarks, analyze program trends, and regularly synthesizeand evaluatedata to assess programeffectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Outreach & Messaging Strategy:Partner with the Communications Manager toestablishoutreach calendars, provideaccurateprogram details, define audience segmentation, and align messaging to boost community participation.
Grant & Funder Alignment:Collaborate with the Development Director to ensure program deliverables align with grant commitments, sponsorship agreements, and reporting timelines.Be a key programmatic spokesperson, ensuring team membersand BGF constituentsunderstand programs and know how to describe their impact.
Community & Stakeholder Relations:Represent BGF at relevant regional outreach events and conferences in coordination with the Executive Director.Cultivate strong relationships with those who engage with the foundation.
Instructor & Facilitator Coordination:In partnership with the Community Liaison and other stakeholders, recruit, onboard, schedule, and support expert wellness instructors, guest speakers, and facilitators across all programs.
Volunteer Oversight:Overseeprogramvolunteers and advisory working groups, providing clear expectations, training, and ongoing support.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degreepreferred;plus3–5 yearsof experience in programcoordination, project management, or community wellness programming.A master's degree may substitute foradditionalyears of work experience.
Technical Proficiency & AV Skills:
Proficiencyin operating and troubleshootingAV equipment,live-stream platforms, microphones, and hybrid event setups.
Proficiencyacross theMicrosoft 365 suite(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
AI Fluency:Practical skill inleveraginggenerative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to elevate operational efficiency, data synthesis, and workflow planning, balanced with sound judgment to avoid relyingon AI to generate primary strategic deliverables.
Data & Analytical Skills:Proven ability to collect, organize, analyze, and presentdata and survey metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Communication & Interpersonal Tact:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across diverse audiences (people living with Parkinson’s, care partners, medical professionals, donors, and volunteers) with provenpresentation and facilitation skills.
Organizational Excellence:High attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the capacity to juggle multiple deadlines and deliverables independently.
Experience withSalesforce(or similar non-profit CRM database).
Lived or professional experience working with neurodegenerative conditions, chronic health populations, older adults, or caregiver support networks.
Familiarity with virtualprogramming models,cohort-based learning, wellness coaching, ornutrition and exercise.
Work Arrangement:Hybrid role based in the Portland, OR metropolitan area, combining remote flexibility with regular in-person presence for local events, workshops, and team meetings.Regular schedule is Mon- Fri, 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekend and evening commitments.Some travel outside the Portland metro area,to includeOregon or Washington, may berequired.
Schedule:Occasional evenings or weekendsrequiredto support specific program sessions, meet-ups, or community outreach events.
Physical Requirements:Ability to transport, lift, and set up AV and event supplies up to 25lbsper item.
Salary Range:$65,000 to $72,000 dependent on experience. Includes flexible work schedule, PTO, Healthand DentalBenefits, Retirement Plan, Holidays off and potential for a performance- basedbonus.
