Job summary

The Atlas Group in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Executive Admin with cross-functional project and procurement responsibilities. You will manage customer platforms, coordinate across engineering, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing to advance programs and contracts.

You will negotiate terms with suppliers, develop contracts, monitor inventory, and prepare status updates for production meetings. Aerospace familiarity and strong MS Office/ERP skills are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years’ experience in Project / Program Management, Procurement, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Experience developing supplier relationships and achieving service improvements.
  • MRP or ERP system experience is beneficial.
  • Aviation background is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Total management of specific customer platforms and coordination across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Assembly, Manufacturing, and Quality.
  • Negotiate contract terms, NDAs, and teaming agreements to secure favorable terms.
  • Create complex purchase contracts following policies to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Develop recommendations to improve policies and procedures.
  • Ensure equitable commitment with suppliers to meet customer needs and goals.
  • Prepare and attend VITRON production status meetings and report status.
  • Monitor inventory based on demand, schedules, and forecasting.
  • Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure execution of VITRON strategies.
  • Manage supplier performance and ensure contractual performance; monitor maintenance of metrics.
  • Maintain standard performance metrics for reporting and monitoring.

Job description

Employee is responsible for total management of specific customer platforms. Total synchronization of all programs related internal departments (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Assembly, Manufacturing, and Quality)

Essential Job Functions:

Follow all established quality management system procedures and work instructions as applicable.

Manage integrated project management team focusing on project activities and overall project plans

Work with diverse teams and help coordinate activities to support project implementation.

Negotiate contract and subcontract terms and conditions, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements with the goal of establishing contracts and agreements with favorable terms

Create complex purchase contracts with negotiated terms and conditions using established policies and procedures as required satisfying customer requirements for goods and services

Develop recommendations to improve policies and procedures

Ensure equitable commitment is made with suppliers in support of customer needs and goals

Develop standard reporting guidelines for performance monitoring

Develop standard performance metrics for performance monitoring

Monitor and maintain inventory based on demand, schedules and forecasting activity

Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure execution of VITRON strategies

Manage supplier performance and ensure satisfactory contract performance is maintained

Develop standard performance metrics for performance monitoring

Prepare and attend all VITRON production status meetings and provide status as required

Ensure profitability on procured products.

Knowledge & Skills:

Experience developing supplier relationships with resulting improvements in services

Experience in reducing material costs and managing capital expenditures

Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with vendors, management, and co-workers.

Ability to interface with technical and non-technical personnel.

Knowledge of supplier owned inventory

Experience with Microsoft Office suite such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Project

Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

Education and Experience:

Five (5) years’ experience in Project / Program Management, Procurement, Accounting, or Finance. Experience working within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Stooping, crouching, reaching, walking, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Must have close visual acuity. May be subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dust.
