Overview

As a Program Manager in the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), you will help lines of business develop and execute strategic roadmaps. Your role involves capturing the strategic vision of business heads and translating strategic goals into executable programs and projects through operational and investment planning and business case development. You will manage the overall completion of a program within the organization's project portfolio, oversee budget, initiatives, and resource maximization, and lead enterprise changes driven by strategic visions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop trust with assigned business lines and help draft their strategic plan in line with organizational objectives through collaborative discussions with business partners, shared services, and risk management.
  • Decompose strategic plans into programs/workstreams, manage and utilize change management techniques to execute according to defined timelines while balancing time and expense.
  • Help manage and track the Program Portfolio; provide program-level metrics to assess and track financials, risk, resources, and other key Program Management functions.
  • Identify, document, and resolve dependencies related to people, product, and processes across all program efforts.
  • Continually assess risk at multiple levels and drive continuous process improvement for Program Management as well as other maturity opportunities outlined in the strategic plan.
  • May lead and develop a team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, training, and development.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 7+ years of related experience in Project Management or a similar field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules, regulations, industry standards, and practices.
  • Advanced experience working on project-based teams.
  • Advanced experience in various EPMO functions including governance, resource capacity management, talent development, and technology program management.
  • Advanced experience drafting strategic plans.
  • Advanced experience communicating with various stakeholder levels, including senior leadership.
  • Advanced influencing skills and ability to gain buy‑in across multiple customers/stakeholders.
  • Advanced financial industry experience preferred.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Advanced process mapping documentation skills preferred.
  • Project Management Professional certification preferred.
  • ADKAR certification preferred.
  • May require up to 25% travel.
