Job summary

Decision Point Security, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to oversee defense cloud portfolios and coordinate delivery across government customers, engineering teams, and leadership.

You will manage onboarding, reporting, and project deliverables to enable analysts and engineers to focus on technical execution. Ideal candidates have government program management experience, a DoD security clearance, and a PMP/DAU-equivalent certification, with excellent communication skills and a track record of

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing teams and program efforts in government driving mission outcomes.
  • Experience in defense cloud environments and SRG guidance.
  • PM certification (PMP or DAU equivalent) required or strongly preferred.
  • Active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance required or in process.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; adaptable in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary interface for day-to-day customer interactions and delivery lifecycle; manage expectations and translate statuses.
  • Lead weekly synchronization meetings with Prime contractors and government customers.
  • Oversee workload and deliverables for defense cloud portfolios, including security control assessments (NIST 800-53) and RMF artifacts.
  • Coordinate resources and testing across multiple projects and enterprise landing zones; ensure timely, quality outputs (e.g., threat models, vulnerability analyses).
  • Maintain project status tracking and reporting using enterprise tools (e.g., Asana, Google Workspace); provide final sign-off on deliverables.

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Program Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is deeply integrated into our operations, designed to oversee defense cloud environment portfolios and streamline technical execution. You will act as the primary operational interface and strategic orchestrator, managing customer interactions, reporting, onboarding, and project deliverables to ensure our analysts and engineers can remain focused on technical delivery. The role works closely with government customers, engineering teams, and senior mission leaders to ensure successful delivery of secure software and platform capabilities. Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary interface for day-to-day customer interactions, including managing expectations, translating technical statuses, coordinate briefings, and handling change requests. Drive execution across cross-functional teams and serve as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Lead weekly synchronization meetings with Prime contractors and government customers.
  • Manage the day-to-day workload and deliverables for complex defense cloud environment portfolios, including the scheduling and delivery pipeline for technical security control assessments (e.g., NIST 800-53), red/purple team activities, and application penetration testing.
  • Coordinate team resources and testing schedules across multiple concurrent projects and enterprise landing zones. Ensure team outputs—including threat models, vulnerability analyses, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts in systems like eMASS—meet customer deadlines and quality standards.
  • Maintain project status tracking and reporting, leveraging enterprise tools (e.g., Asana, Google Workspace) to organize workflows and prioritize task execution.
  • Conduct final review, provide sign-off, and own the quality of the content for all operational documentation and contract deliverables.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing teams and program efforts in government driving positive mission outcomes. Specific experience within defense cloud environments is a strong plus.
  • High-level familiarity with cybersecurity principles, DoD Cloud Computing SRG, and vulnerability remediation to effectively translate technical impacts to stakeholders.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to operate and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technical Management, or a similar relevant field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), similar relevant certification from the Defense Acquisition University (DAU), or equivalent acquisition/project management certification.
  • Active DoD Secret (or higher) security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong background in customer relations and formal project management.
  • Familiarity with government contracting vehicles and procedures.
  • Previous experience as a material lead or similar program manager role within defense cloud architectures.
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical teams, specifically those conducting cybersecurity testing, risk analysis, or compliance assessments.
