Job summary

The Program Manager will assist in planning, executing, and tracking outcomes and deliverables as part of developing and maintaining a portfolio of community-engaged, health disparity research programs.Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):Oversee and assist with implementation of day-to-day project and budget management for community-engaged, health disparity research programs, including in collaboration with other academic institutions and community-based organizations and stakeholders.Develop and maintain systems for tracking multiple community-engaged, health disparity research program deadlines, activities, and outcomes.Develop and coordinate progress reports and presentations as required by research program sponsors or in communicating programmatic outcomes to diverse stakeholder audiences.Plan and provide logistical support for research and community stakeholder meetingsAssist with development and coordination of research grant proposals and budgetsOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Strong system development skills, including high proficiency with software programsStrong computer skills, including proficiency with the full suite of Microsoft office productsStrong oral and written communication skillsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities Preferred:Completed master’s degree in a public health, community health, or related scientific field Prior community engagement and/or community-engaged research experiencePrior program or project management experienceEducation and Experience Required:Master’s degree requiredMinimum 2 years of relevant work experience
