Job summary

AMTEC Corporation - A National Defense Corp Company seeks a Program Manager to drive the execution of multiple programs from development to production. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage schedules, budgets, and quality, and communicate status to leadership and customers.

The role requires a technical or business degree and a track record in defense or automotive program management, with potential MBA preferred. Travel as required; salaried-exempt full-time position.

Qualifications

• Previous program management experience.
• Experience in more than one of the following disciplines: development engineering, process engineering, finance, operations.

• The program manager is responsible for the execution of one or more simultaneous programs under development according to the released Product Life Cycle/Phase Review process from program approval through volume production.
• The program manager is responsible for the execution of one or more simultaneous production released programs to meet delivery, quality, and performance requirements.
• Lead program teams and facilitate the communication and interaction among the functional representatives.
• Track program against its schedule, quality, budget and against phase review objectives, while reporting status to supervisor on a regular basis and executive staff on an as needed basis.
• Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities.
• Coordinate with customers, to provide necessary program status and obtain customer feedback.
• Lead program teams and facilitate the communication and interaction among the functional representatives.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
