Job summary

Creare, located in Hanover, New Hampshire, seeks a Program Manager to oversee specific projects, including innovative products for aerospace, medical, and government sectors, with responsibility for schedules, budgets, and overall program execution.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in engineering (MS preferred) and 5+ years of hardware-delivery project management, with experience dealing directly with government and aerospace prime customers and strong MS Project capabilities.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in engineering required, MS degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management in a hardware delivery environment.
  • Experience directly dealing with government and aerospace prime customers from a program/project, liaison, engineering, and/or sales perspective.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate an interdisciplinary team to meet challenging technical requirements and to deliver hardware within schedule.
  • Program financial understanding, program and scope estimating, cost of goods sold and program/project gross margin experience a plus.
  • MS Project and/or similar program scheduling/tracking software capability.
  • Knowledge or experience with U.S. Government contracts and Export Control compliance requirements. Strong knowledge of engineering and production requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational management of projects which includes developing schedules and budgets and managing expenditures and project execution
  • Serve as primary customer contact
  • Identify staffing and other resources required for each project
  • Oversee, approve, and assume responsibility for the creation of responses to RFQ's, additional changes in contract/program scope, and/or any and all customer or internal changes that affect program goals/metrics (i.e. cost, gross margin, schedule(s))
  • Provide coordination of reviews and requests as well as contract negotiation
  • Ensure projects are in compliance with customer and government standards and requirements, as applicable
  • Oversee day-to-day activities and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiencies
  • Interface directly with all internal department leads, outside suppliers/vendors and especially the customer regarding all facets of program control, management, and reporting

Creare is focused on developing and manufacturing new high-technology products for a variety of customers and marketplaces.

Creare is seeking a Program Manager to be responsible for the overall management of a specific project or projects. Those projects may include innovative products for aerospace, medical and government sectors.

Professional Requirements

BS degree in engineering required, MS degree preferred. The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management in a hardware delivery environment

  • Starting salary at $100,000 and up, based on level of education completed, and years of relevant experience.
