Job summary

RTX is seeking a Program Manager for the Advanced Early Warning & Reconnaissance Systems (AEWRS) portfolio in El Segundo, CA. The role leads cross-functional teams across production, sustainment and new development with a focus on cost, schedule and performance.

A Secret clearance is required, with onsite responsibilities in a DoD program environment. You will set strategy and direction for execution, manage risk, and collaborate with US government customers and primes to deliver on-time,

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Leadership experience leading transition to production, production and/or sustainment programs.
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, and performance for programs with use of program management tools such as EVMS, IMP, IMS, Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope Board, or similar business processes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams

Raytheon is seeking a Program Manager for the Advanced Early Warning & Reconnaissance Systems (AEWRS) portfolio.This is a highly visible program area within the Surveillance & Tactical Radars Solutions (STaRS) Portfolio working directly with Northrop Grumman, U.S. Navy, and other U.S. government (USG) entities in all facets of the product lifecycle (production, sustainment and new development). You will be expected to set strategy, vision and direction for successful execution of ongoing programs as well as delivering new business to the portfolio. The key tenets of the AEWRS portfolio include people-centric, customer-focused execution, product affordability, product integrity, and on-time deliveries.

This role is onsite located in El Segundo, California.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Program Management Level 6 Certification or ability to obtain within one year
  • Proven success creating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers
  • Experienced leader competencies, especially influential communications, strategic thinking, cultivating innovation, collaboration, developing talent, customer focus, and driving results
  • Effective interpersonal skills especially in team building and customer relationships
  • Strong communication, dedicated work ethic, a willingness to learn on the job, and commitment to being an active participant of our team and customer focused culture
  • Experience working with U.S. Air Force or other customers on government programs (large/complex) with direct customer interfaces, both internal and external

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
