About Walgreens:Walgreens is a leading retail pharmacy chain committed to providing exceptional healthcare and customer service. We are embarking on a large-scale initiative to migrate our communications platforms and are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead this multi-year, enterprise-level effort.

About the Role:As the Program Manager for our Communications Platform Migration, you will oversee the consolidation of various communication tools into a new Adobe platform. Currently, Walgreens uses a version of Adobe, CheetahMail, Cisco, and Unica for different functions. This initiative aims to merge these platforms into one cohesive Adobe tool. The project will span multiple phases, including discovery, planning, and execution, and will involve significant coordination across retail, pharmacy, and digital domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the migration project, ensuring alignment with the overall roadmap and strategic goals.
  • Oversee multiple teams and workstreams, including SMS, batch email, transactional email, change management, infrastructure/data, and security.
  • Collaborate with the Adobe team as the main vendor and coordinate with the SI partner responsible for technical implementation.
  • Ensure successful migration to Adobe Journey Optimizer, the newest enterprise communications tool.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from various teams.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-year programs, preferably in communications platform migration.
  • Strong background in project management, with the ability to oversee multiple teams and workstreams.
  • Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer or similar enterprise communications tools.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with vendors, technical partners, and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail, pharmacy, or digital sectors.
  • Familiarity with CheetahMail, Cisco, Unica, and other communication tools.
  • Knowledge of change management and infrastructure/data security best practices.

Team Structure:You will work within a pods team structure, with SMEs from each team being part of the project team.
