Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Healthcare Program Manager to oversee the NH Regional Office’s healthcare services under the NH Department of Corrections contract.

This onsite role in Concord NP entails coordinating clinical leadership and ensuring compliant, high-quality care for justice-involved patients. The position requires travel as needed, a preferred RN background, and a BSN or related bachelor’s degree with at least five years of management experience.

Qualifications

• BSN degree preferred or bachelor’s level in a related field.
• Minimum of five years of management experience.
• Travel may be required to any NHDOC facility.
• Registered Nurse license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver healthcare services under the NH Department of Corrections contract.
• Serve as liaison with NH Department of Corrections leadership to resolve health care delivery issues.
• Consult with NH Director of Medical & Forensic Services and site administrators on health services issues.
• Consult with Chief Medical Officer, Chief Psychiatric Officer, Chief Dental Officer and other clinical staff on complex patient management issues.
• Act as liaison between Wexford Health and NH DOC to ensure effective health care delivery.
• Execute policies and procedures governing staff compliance with health, safety, and security standards.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management and delivery of healthcare services for the New Hampshire Dept. of Corrections contract.

• Serve as the liaison and be responsible for working with NH Department of Corrections, Division of Medical & Forensic Services leadership to resolve issues related to health care delivery.

• Consult with NH Director of Medical & Forensic Services and site administrators regarding health services issues of an administrative nature.

• Consult with Chief Medical Officer, Chief Psychiatric Officer, Chief Dental Officer and other clinical operating staff regarding unusual clinical issues of a complex nature, which involve patient management.

• Responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the state’s overall health care delivery system by acting as a liaison between Wexford Health and the NH Department of Corrections; institution administration, department heads, and subordinates.

• Executes policies and procedures governing staff compliance with health, safety, and security standards within the facilities of his/her contract.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

TRAVEL: May be required to travel to any NHDOC facility

LICENSING: Registered Nurse license preferred

EDUCATION: BSN degree preferred or bachelors level in a related field

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of give (5) years management experience

Correctional experience a plus.
