Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies in Washington state seeks a Program Manager to oversee contract execution and coordinate across engineering, certification, supply chain and operations for prototype and mid-scale projects. You will be the single point of contact for program inquiries and ensure compliance with SOW and contract terms, while keeping programs on schedule and within budget.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage milestones, use EVMS in status updates, and coordinate Change Orders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline; minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Aerospace background and aircraft interior industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as single point of contact for technical contracts and prototype programs.
  • Ensure adherence to Statement of Work and contract terms by GTI and clients.
  • Manage project milestones, schedules, budgets, and quality; provide post-delivery support if needed.
  • Communicate program statuses to the team; use EVMS for status updates and analyses.
  • Lead interdepartmental coordination and coordinate with vendors to support project requirements.

Job description

Coordinates and oversees activities related to execution of a contract or contract subset. Provides a single point of contact for program related inquiries. Facilitates interdepartmental cohesiveness between engineering, certification, supply chain and operations and coordinates the activities of other companies, vendors or individuals by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides the customer with a direct point of contact for contracts which are technical and prototype in nature.
  • Responsible for comprehending the Statement of Work and contract for assigned projects and ensuring that both GTI and the client comply with both.
  • Responsible for ensuring that assigned small- to mid-scale projects progress on schedule within budget and meet or exceed quality standards; this may include post-delivery support.
  • Responsible for communicating concise and comprehensive program statuses and priorities to the program team. Utilizes Earned Value Management System (EVMS) within program status updates and performance analysis and creates recommendations for action.
  • Organizes and facilitates contractual coordination and milestone meetings.
  • Responsible for the financial performance of assigned work packages and control accounts
  • Participates in, and guides, Change Order process and activity to approved thresholds for assigned projects.
  • Keeps the client and executive management informed of the current status of all significant aspects of each assigned project through program reviews, status reports, meetings, etc.
  • Facilitates inter- and intra-departmental coordination to support project requirements.
  • Facilitates team cohesiveness through strong communication, unity of purpose and commitment.
  • Provides planning and leadership which will minimize problems or conflicts and provide leadership in developing team-based solutions to problems as they arise.
  • Coordinates with internal departments to ensure that the activities of other companies, vendors or individuals support project requirements.
  • Oversees Modification Center activity and schedules.
  • May negotiate revised delivery dates, costs or other proposal/contract parameters.
  • Facilitates a positive relationship with customers.
  • Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Engineering or a related discipline, a minimum of 6 years relevant experience and/or training. Aerospace background and aircraft interior industry experience required.

Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.

The expected WA salary range for this position is between $109,000.00 - $ 150,000.00 . Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, and other factors permitted by law.
