Job summary

Lonza in Bend, Oregon, seeks a capable leader to guide cross-functional programs through milestones, align teams, and ensure successful execution across the Lonza network. This is a fully site-based role where in-person collaboration supports the high precision required to manufacture medicines to the highest standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a science or engineering field.
  • Experience in project or program management within a regulated environment.
  • Background in pharmaceutical, chemical, or life sciences industries is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and standard office applications.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects successfully.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence across teams.
  • Clear and effective communication skills with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams across the full program lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and program performance.
  • Partner with account management to develop and execute long-term strategies.
  • Establish and maintain governance structures for program oversight.
  • Prepare statements of work and support approval processes.
  • Identify risks and drive actions to ensure successful program delivery.

The actual location of this job is in Bend, Oregon. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead cross-functional programs that deliver high-quality outcomes for customers. You will guide projects through key milestones, align teams, and ensure successful execution across the Lonza network.

This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.
