As a Program Manager for Nidec Aerospace, you will lead cross‑functional initiatives to develop electric propulsion systems for battery‑powered aircraft, supporting the industry’s transition to net‑zero carbon emissions.

Job Description

Oversee multiple projects, aligning strategy, resources, and execution to deliver results on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Lead teams, promote project management best practices, monitor progress, manage risks, and communicate status to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive program and project plans.
  • Provide strong leadership to cross‑functional project teams.
  • Track project progress, proactively identifying challenges and implementing corrective actions.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues.
  • Communicate clear, concise, and accurate status updates to senior leadership.
  • Partner closely with internal teams across functions to ensure alignment and delivery.
  • Promote and ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project and/or program management.
  • Proven leadership capabilities to motivate, influence, and guide teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident presenting to senior‑level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing detailed project plans using project management tools and software.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
  • Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum methodologies.
  • PMP, PMI‑ACP, or similar certification preferred.
