Job summary

Teradyne’s Defense and Aerospace Division leads in high‑performance test solutions for defence and aerospace markets. We seek a Program Manager who will drive complex Defense & Aerospace programs from planning through execution, coordinating with Sales, engineering and operations to meet cost/schedule/performance goals.

You will develop Integrated Master Schedules, assess risk, and deliver executive‑level updates while ensuring ITAR/CUI compliance and cross‑functional alignment across global

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive engineering and program/project management experience, ideally in Aerospace & Defense or high‑tech.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi‑disciplinary programs with full cost/schedule/performance accountability.
• Proficiency with program management tools, risk reviews, and integrated scheduling (e.g., MS Project).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills including ability to communicate and foster communication between project groups.
• Strong ability to use data and information for problem solving.
• Understanding of handling and securing ITAR and CUI information.

Opportunity Overview

The Program Manager – Defense & Aerospace will lead high‑impact programs supporting military and aerospace customers, ensuring seamless execution across scope, schedule, and cost. This role serves as a strategic integrator, working closely with Sales and external customers and integrating customer needs across engineering and operations to drive program success and uphold Teradyne’s standards of excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $111,600-$178,600. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: Eligible for discretionary bonus based on financial performance.
