Job summary

ResCare Community Living, part of the Sevita family, seeks a supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities for individuals served in our Marion, OH programs. You will ensure proper care, implement program plans, and maintain required records while coordinating with case managers and guardians.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, health/medication management, staff supervision, and maintaining safe, clean homes. Travel may be needed to support services and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years’ experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification provided in-house.
• Travel as needed to support individuals served.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities and ensures individuals served are properly managed and cared for.
• Maintains program records and coordinates scheduling and health/medication management.
• Ensures safety, compliance with regulatory requirements, and proper incident reporting.
• Builds relationships with case managers, guardians, and individuals served to enhance satisfaction and outcomes.

Summary Supervises the day to day activities, and ensures all individuals receiving services are properly managed and cared for, including implementing programs and services for those individuals. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinates activities and appointments of individuals served and maintains records.

Essential Job Functions To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:

• Completes purchasing of program supplies and submits billing compliance documentation.
• Maintains census and maximizes utilization and occupancy percentages within programs.
• Maintains and fosters relations with case managers and referral agents and lobbies on behalf of individuals supported and Network as appropriate.
• Maintains and fosters relations with individuals receiving services, families and guardians and implements individual satisfaction enhancement plans as appropriate.
• Supervises individual's receiving services program plans and submits incident reports as appropriate.
• Ensures timely incident reporting and implements individual corrective action.
• Implements individuals supported safety plans and coordinates scheduling. Ensures individuals are receiving appropriate health and medication management. Assists in the management of client funds.
• Ensures homes are clean, neat, and safe; and works with and/or contacts maintenance as appropriate.
• Provides leadership including direct supervision of staff; implements Network employee practices; ensures safety and workers’ compensation initiatives are followed; and ensures employees receive appropriate orientation and training.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
• Performs other related duties and activities as required.
• In NH - Responsible for reviewing all internal and external reports inclusive of outside fire protection contractor reports, and will complete all repairs required by such reports within 3 months.

Supervisory Responsibilities Directs and supervises assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma
• One to two years’ experience preferred
• An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements
• Other education and experience as required by state

Certificates, Licenses, And Registrations

• CPR and First Aid- training provided in house
• Current driver's license, car registration and auto insurance if providing transportation to individuals receiving services
• Licensure as required by state

• Medium Work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
