Job summary

HNTB Corporation's New York office is seeking interns for Summer 2027 in Program Management, with the primary location at the Administration Building at JFK Airport. Relocation and housing are not provided for this paid internship.

Interns will assist project teams, perform basic research, and help maintain records while developing graphics and reports using industry tools. This role offers hands-on exposure to major infrastructure projects in a collaborative, professional setting.

This opportunity entails being under close supervision, assist departments by performing basic assignments in the areas including, but not limited to Science, Planning, Technology. This position is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis. Our New York office is seeking Interns interested in Program Management for Summer 2027. The primary location for this position will be at the Administration Building at JFK Airport. Relocation and housing are NOT provided for this position.

What You’ll Do:

• Assists project team members with various support tasks.
• Conducts basic research and data collection.
• Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
• Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.
• Performs other duties assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program.

What We Prefer:

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
• Autodesk Navisworks
• Sketchup
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe After Effects
• Synchro Pro
• Experience in preparation of 3D & 4D visualizations and simulations using Autodesk Navisworks and/or Synchro Pro.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to understand basic design and construction components.
• The ability to Identify errors, problems, or non-standard situations and suggest alternatives.
• Possess character traits of being accurate, thorough, meticulous, proactive, efficient, self-motivated, self-organizing, a team player.
• Proven ability to work effectively within groups and to complete assigned tasks independently.
• e-Builder, SharePoint and Microsoft Visio user knowledge a plus.

Locations:

The approximate pay range for New York is $26.34 - $39.50. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position based on all selected locations within the state at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
