Job summary

Spartronics is a leading Electronics Manufacturing Services provider serving aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial customers. The Program Management Coordinator supports the PM team with PO input, quotations, data entry, and cross‑functional coordination to keep programs on schedule.

Based at our North Logan, UT site, you’ll participate in customer meetings, track milestones, assist with proposals, and help ensure on-time delivery and program profitability for our customers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support program management activities related to customer programs and production coordination.
  • Coordinate program schedules, meetings, action items, deliverables, and follow-up activities.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, planning, supply chain, engineering, quality, and customer support teams.
  • Assist with customer communications on order status and documentation requests.
  • Maintain accurate program documentation, ERP records, schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Support program reporting and monitor milestones and risk factors.
  • Participate in customer meetings and internal reviews to drive program execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with identification and follow-up of operational risks and material shortages.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures, requirements, and documentation standards.

The Program Management Coordinator provides essential support to the Program Management team and participates in occasional customer-facing activities. Key responsibilities include reviewing and entering purchase orders, assisting with quotations, and performing a range of data entry and verification tasks. The role supports customer engagement through scheduled meetings, technical discussions, performance reviews, and Bid & Proposal efforts.

This position contributes to all phases of program execution—from initiation through completion—by helping maintain schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring deadlines are met. The Program Coordinator also assists with proposals, program reviews, and financial planning, supporting overall customer satisfaction, profitability, and risk management. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective multitasking, and clear, timely communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support program management activities related to customer programs, operational coordination, production execution, and program lifecycle requirements.
  • Coordinate program schedules, meetings, action items, customer deliverables, and operational follow-up activities to support successful program execution.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, planning, supply chain, engineering, quality, and customer support teams regarding program status, operational priorities, material readiness, production schedules, and customer delivery requirements.
  • Support customer communication activities related to order status, delivery updates, documentation requests, routine inquiries, and program-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate program documentation, ERP records, schedules, status reports, meeting notes, performance metrics, delivery commitments, and other program-related tracking information.
  • Support program reporting activities and monitor program milestones, operational performance, and customer requirements.
  • Participate in customer meetings, operational reviews, and internal coordination discussions supporting program execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with identification, communication, and follow-up of operational risks, schedule concerns, material shortages, customer issues, and other factors impacting program performance.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), engineering changes, operational transitions, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives related to customer programs.
  • Support compliance with organizational procedures, customer requirements, documentation standards, and operational controls.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements

Must be U.S. persons within the definition of ITAR, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. We can not sponsor visas.

  • Basic understanding of ERP systems, manufacturing reporting systems, or operational business platforms.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation, reports, and operational records.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to follow written instructions.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, customer communications, and operational reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Experience supporting electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, or industrial operational environments.
  • Experience supporting customer programs, operational scheduling, or manufacturing coordination activities.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing planning, supply chain coordination, or operational workflow processes.
  • Experience utilizing ERP systems, MRP systems, or customer reporting platforms.
  • Experience supporting high-mix, low-volume manufacturing or contract manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational efficiency initiatives.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to remain seated and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Frequent use of computers, phones, ERP systems, and office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through electronic communication methods.
  • Ability to move throughout office and manufacturing areas as needed.
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • May occasionally support activities within manufacturing areas requiring compliance with PPE and safety requirements.
Compensation:

This is a non-exempt position. Compensation is based on relevant education, experience, and demonstrated skills in program coordination, customer support, manufacturing operations, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration. Experience within electronics or contract manufacturing may also be considered.
