About The Role

The Program Leader, Global GenAI Innovative Projects will be part of the Global Digital Experience team, the digital service design arm of the global CommOps organization. The role will be responsible for operationalizing transformational GenAI projects, ensuring that product scoping and design aim for high business benefits, involving operational stakeholders as needed, removing roadblocks, launching and managing projects, gathering insights for rapid improvement, reading out results, developing scaling plans, and handing over successful projects to BAU teams. The role requires managing multiple projects at different stages simultaneously.

The successful candidate will possess strong technical and business acumen, be organized, and able to quickly build strong partnerships across the business to drive rapid deployment and adoption of transformative technology.

What The Candidate Will Do

  • Partner with Product Managers to develop and launch transformational tech projects leveraging GenAI to solve business problems and drive impactful results.
  • Manage the implementation of multiple projects simultaneously, removing obstacles as necessary.
  • Bring insights and feedback, socialize impact, scale successful projects, and transition to BAU teams when appropriate.
  • Fail fast on projects that do not generate tangible results and pivot to new initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Tech and Ops stakeholders to communicate product/project information, educate on capabilities, and evangelize new technology.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of experience in technology, consulting, operations, or other highly agile, project-based environments.
  • Experience in Program Management with a focus on product.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an MBA.
  • 6+ years of experience in Product Operations or a similar role.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and program management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to failures and pivot quickly to new initiatives.
  • Proven track record at top-tier strategy consulting or tech firms in implementation projects.
  • Experience in GenAI.
  • Experience managing global programs/projects.
  • Ability to read technical documentation, including PRDs and Lucidcharts.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to push back.
  • Obsessed with delivering excellent customer experience and a strategic/visionary mindset.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range is USD $155,000 to $172,000 annually. You will be eligible for Uber's bonus program, potential equity awards, and other benefits. More details can be found at Uber Benefits.
