CSUDH Toro Auxiliary Partners is seeking a Program Leader (After School) to support student success in the Compton Unified School District Expanded Learning Program. Under supervision, you will provide tutoring, enrichment activities, and positive role modeling for students in after-school hours.
The role is part-time, non-exempt, non-benefited, onsite, and requires at least two years of experience with students, a high school diploma or higher, and passing background checks.

Program Leaders play a vital role in supporting student success within the Compton Unified School District Expanded Learning Program. Under the direct supervision of an assigned Certificated Site Program Manager, Program Leaders provide academic support, supervision, and enrichment opportunities for students enrolled in the after-school program.
Working with students in groups of up to a 25:1 ratio, Program Leaders create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment by providing tutoring, facilitating enrichment activities, and serving as positive role models. They motivate students to learn while offering individualized and small-group academic support to help students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and achieve success both in and out of the classroom.
This is a part-time, non-exempt, non-benefited position.
Employment at Toro Auxiliary Partners is on an at-will basis and can be terminated by either an employee or Toro Auxiliary Partners at any time with or without cause or advanced notice. Permanent status can neither be obtained nor granted.
