The eBay Collectibles team is looking for Sr/Jr Program Managers to lead critical initiatives within the US Collectibles portfolio. These roles drive the ongoing evolution and expansion of our eBay Collectibles offerings - including the development, launch, and management of key services, features, and functionality for the category.

  • Program management: Successfully lead key programs and projects in a large, heavily-matrixed organization.

  • Stakeholder management: Lead through influence, build strong relationships, gain alignment and buy-in across internal and external partners and functions.

  • Strategic problem solving & communication skills: Break down tough problems into clear next steps and support with data-backed narratives.

  • Business case development & impact assessment: Leverage data to support hypothesis testing, resourcing/prioritization of new initiatives, and ongoing impact assessment for existing initiatives.

  • Bias towards ownership & action: Step up and take the lead when needed to accelerate progress, especially in the face of ambiguity.

  • Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.

The impact you will make

  • Drive growth & steer strategy: Lead strategy development, execution, and ongoing management/optimization of key initiatives.

  • Launch new capabilities & businesses: Leverage data/insights to determine which features & services will move the needle for our consumers, build compelling business cases to back new programs, and work across teams to bring these programs to life.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes: Lead day-to-day project management and operations and ensure teams are tracking to timelines and goals.

  • Drive decisionmaking: Deliver analysis and presentations to communicate progress, performance, and secure approval from senior and executive leadership. Track and share program insights as part of business update cadences - WBR, MBR, QBR, etc.

Other qualifications

Required

  • 4-7+ years of relevant experience: Program management, strategy & operations, management consulting, product management, or similar in e-commercial, retail, consumer goods, or consumer tech.

  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent.

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

  • Excellent presentation skills + high-level proficiency in related tools: Google Slides and/or MS Powerpoint.

  • Excellent analytical skills, experience pulling data/gathering insights, and high-level proficiency in related tools: Google Sheets and/or MS Excel.

  • Excellent program/project management skills and high-level proficiency in related tools: MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.

  • Travel to industry events, external partners, and eBay offices as-needed (4+ times/year).

Preferred

  • MBA or similar graduate degree.

  • 2-sided marketplace experience.

  • Industry experience in or personal passion for Collectibles (Trading Cards, Coins, Comics, Toys).

  • Proficiency in SQL coding and demonstrated expertise with Data Warehouse pulls.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$123,600 - $198,100

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
