The Community You Will Join:

In Community and Commercial Policy (CCP), our mission is to develop principled policies that set the rules for Guests and Hosts across Airbnb. We address complex challenges through research and stakeholder collaboration, designing scalable policies that support our community. We collaborate with cross-functional partners to create accessible enforcement guides and continuously improve our policies.

The Difference You Will Make:

As the program lead for Policy Operations and Programs within the CCP team, you will work with Policy and Operations stakeholders to enhance our policy implementation and drive initiatives across the company. Your work will ensure accurate and efficient enforcement of policies, impacting millions of Airbnb community members worldwide.

A Typical Day:

1. Translate policies into clear agent articles and enforcement guidance, overseeing implementation to ensure fidelity to Airbnb’s principles.
2. Collaborate with Product, Operations, Trust, Legal, and Communications teams to develop scalable enforcement guidance.
3. Bridge policy development and implementation, anticipating changes and influencing emerging policy areas.
4. Analyze enforcement data and market trends to refine policies and proactively identify risks and integrity challenges.
5. Analyze complex issues to inform scalable decisions across moderation systems.
6. Support the policy team by shaping systems, processes, decision frameworks, and quality standards.

Your Expertise:

• 8+ years in operations, implementation, product management, or related roles focusing on policy and global collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong strategic and critical thinking with attention to detail and big-picture understanding.
• Problem-solving skills, especially in new and uncharted areas.
• Effective leadership and ability to manage complex issues independently.
• Data analysis skills and experience in data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with product development lifecycle within technology or industry regulations.
