Job summary

CHI Friendship is seeking a DSP Employment Specialist to lead program planning, execution, and delivery with a focus on risk, resources, and budgets. You will guide cross-functional teams and ensure high-quality supports that align with organizational goals.

You will supervise DSPs and staff, document care plans, and help people supported engage in community activities, employment, and daily living with emphasis on safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, strategic thinking and problem-solving required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staff performance and supervision for Supervisors and DSPs.
• Documents accurately and timely in all records for people supported.
• Manages program risks, resources and budgets to align with goals.
• Supports people to participate in employment, volunteer work, and community activities.
• Ensures basic assurances are met for each person in the department.
