Job summary

Ability Road is seeking a Program Lead to oversee daily program operations, coach staff, and ensure high‑quality community integration and vocational services for adults with developmental disabilities in Lake County, CA.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and a strong communicator, with experience in staff supervision, documentation, HIPAA/privacy, and coordinating meaningful activities and employment supports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or related human services.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid California driver’s license and minimum 3 years of driving experience.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to pass required background and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support staff, ensuring program quality and adherence to policies.
• Support participants in community, employment, and skill-building activities.
• _manage participant documentation including assessments, goals, progress notes, and annual reviews.
• Coordinate meaningful community and skill-building activities.
• Support job readiness and employment goals, including internship opportunities.
• Maintain regular communication with staff, participants, families, and other stakeholders.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and on-call responsibilities.
