Job summary

Minneapolis Public Schools seeks a Program Coordinator for Minneapolis Kids at the Armatage site to coordinate day-to-day operations and support program quality. You will lead childcare staff and volunteers, oversee curriculum and daily activities, and ensure safe, inclusive, engaging programming for children.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with the Program Manager, manage scheduling, and liaise with school staff to align with district policies and DHS requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Child Development or related field.
• Two years of experience coordinating programs serving preschool or school age children including directing staff; mentoring.
• Ability to supervise staff, coach and manage workload and performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Program Manager and Administration for overall program operation.
• Provide leadership for childcare assistants, workers and volunteers.
• Ensure student safety and supervise children according to DHS and district policies.
• Develop and maintain quality programming, curriculum and daily activities schedule.
• Manage program supplies, equipment and site budget.
