Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Program Launch Manager – Operations Consultant with the ability to effectively communicate in Mandarin, to lead and deliver high-impact operational transformation programs across multiple business units or client engagements. This role combines program management discipline with deep operational expertise in new product launch (NPI) and manufacturing footprint relocations: to drive efficiency, cost savings, and sustainable improvements. The ideal candidate excels at stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, and change leadership in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of new product launch (NPI) and product relocation onshoring to greenfield sites under compressed timelines. Complex operational improvement programs across supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or service operations.
  • Experience leading 5-10 consultants on a project.
  • Assess client or internal operational processes and identify performance gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and implement solutions that enhance productivity, reduce cost, and improve service levels.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across functions (e.g., operations, finance, IT, quality) to align program goals and drive adoption.
  • Track and report on program milestones, risks, KPIs, and ROI and lead weekly steering committee report out.
  • Facilitate workshops and change management initiatives to support transformation.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry-specific operational standards and regulations.
  • Mentor junior consultants or team members and support business development efforts through proposal writing and client presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in operations consulting or operational leadership roles, including at least 3 years in a program or project management capacity.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale operational improvement or transformation programs at greenfield & brownfield sites.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies (certifications preferred).
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira) and performance tracking dashboards and use of MS PowerPoint for executive presentations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to client or project sites.

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP, PgMP, or similar program management certification.
  • Experience with digital operations, ERP implementation, or Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with cost/benefit analysis.
  • Background in regulated industries such as healthcare, aerospace, or manufacturing.
