Shine BrightX LLC invites you to join our Summer Internship in Knoxville, at Pilot Company's Knoxville headquarters, from June 7 to August 13, 2027. You will assist with tax compliance tasks and gain hands-on experience.

This in-person program emphasizes mentorship from the Income Tax team while you develop advanced Excel and Power Query skills with real-world datasets. You will help improve onboarding and tax preparation processes and contribute your fresh perspective to the team's work.

Formación

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting; master's in tax preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel essential; MS Access or tax software advantageous.
• Team-oriented, responsive to feedback, eager to learn.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Assist with tax compliance by completing essential summer tax tasks to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Support data analysis using Excel and Power Query with large datasets.
• Learn through mentorship from experienced Income Tax team staff, gaining hands‑on training and real‑world experience.
• Contribute to improving onboarding and tax preparation processes with your work and fresh perspective.

About You

What you’ll need:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting; a master’s concentration in tax is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel is essential; experience with MS Access or other tax preparation software is advantageous.
• Team‑oriented attitude with strong willingness to accept and act on feedback.
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust as priorities change.
• High interest in income tax, eagerness to learn, and desire to contribute to a collaborative environment.
