Qualifications

  • Ability to teach Couch to 5K, Self-Defense, Weight Training.
  • Design and lead a 6–8 week program including lesson plans and progressions.
  • Basic administrative skills: class attendance, communication, and record‑keeping.
  • Energetic personality and passion for teaching.
  • Consistent availability to work a predetermined schedule throughout the semester.

Responsibilities

  • Engage participants with vibrant activities that promote fitness, wellness, and personal interests.
  • Identify and modify movements to ensure participant safety.
  • Maintain attendance records and perform basic administrative duties.

  • Establish a positive rapport with students, staff, members, and guests, and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a Standard of Excellence in professionalism and safety.

Compensation

Wage position eligible for $20.00–$35.00 per hour. Maximum of 1500 hours per year. This position is not eligible for leave or other benefits.
