The position is responsible for quality improvement activities in the district. The position consults with CCR staff and establishes methods using automated systems to track, analyze, and improve Child Care Regulation staff’s compliance with program standards and effectiveness in carrying out the mission of the agency. The position also establishes methods to review and evaluate improvements in childcare operations. Work involves preparing comprehensive reports that contain issue analysis, impact assessments, and detailed recommendations for improvements. The position analyzes and identifies trends through case reading, quality assurance activities, and analysis of operations, including workload distributions and productivity reports, in order to identify potential program improvements. The position interacts routinely with other CCR staff, other agency staff, childcare providers, community groups, and staff of other state and local agencies.
