Job summary

The Arc of Centre County is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) / Program Generalists to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in group homes across Centre County, PA. The role offers part-time hours on weekends (24-32 hours) with paid training and opportunities for credentialing and advancement.

Starting pay is $19/hour plus up to $1/hour shift differentials for nights, weekends, and holidays, plus a $600 sign-on/stay-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to pass required physical, and TB screening.
• Able to assist with lifting, bending, standing, and transferring as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily living skills, including cooking, hygiene, and household routines.
• Administering medications and following support plans.
• Providing transportation to appointments and community outings.
• Building meaningful relationships while supporting independence.

Skills
