Job summary

Ultra Intelligence & Communications is seeking an experienced technical writer to support DoD documentation efforts, including CDRLs, manuals, and proposals. You will translate complex engineering content into clear, compliant documents and collaborate with diverse teams to meet stringent requirements.

You will coordinate with stakeholders, maintain structured documentation in designated systems, and ensure timely delivery while adhering to security clearance policies and program needs.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of applied experience writing technology-focused documentation for government and commercial stakeholders.
  • 3+ years planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing technical documentation and proposal content.
  • 3+ years developing user and administrator documentation for software-based systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate DID requirements with contributors and provide CDRL status in review meetings.
  • Translate engineering content into effective CDRL documentation.
  • Create, maintain, and update user manuals, administrator guides, installation guides, configuration guides, release notes, and quick-reference materials.
  • Maintain source files, graphics, and published deliverables in document- or configuration-management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with RFQ/RFP/RFI requirements and produce high-quality documentation on schedule.
