  • Current or previous Apartment Life Coordinator experience required.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
  • Valid driver’s license, current liability insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Basic English fluency, including ability to create marketing materials and complete reports.
  • Physically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee approximately 6–8 programs, with 1–2 monthly events per program.
  • Plan and execute event logistics, including scheduling, communication, vendors, and onsite support.
  • Ensure programs are organized, engaging, and aligned with Apartment Life standards.
  • Create and distribute flyers, calendars, and social media content.
  • Track participation, complete basic reports, and communicate updates.
  • Manage event budgets and administrative processes.
  • Proactively solve problems and adapt to changing program needs.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, volunteers, onsite staff, vendors, and community partners.
  • Foster welcoming and engaging environments.
  • Encourage resident participation and connections.
  • Provide a consistent, caring presence across assigned communities.
  • Support volunteer recruitment and coordination.

Program Employee – Events & Ministry Coordinator

Nashville Metro Area | Part-Time | $23/hour | 10–19 hours/week

Position Overview

This position is ONLY available to current or previous Apartment Life Coordinators.

Apartment Life is seeking a Program Employee to serve as an Events & Ministry Coordinator across multiple apartment communities in the Nashville metro area. This role supports program consistency, resident engagement, and overall program excellence for long-term offsite programs or short-term assignments while an onsite team is being identified.

The ideal candidate is dependable, relational, adaptable, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple programs and changing priorities.

Events & Ministry Coordinators create an exceptional Apartment Life experience by planning engaging events, building meaningful relationships, and providing a caring, consistent presence within each community. Through hospitality and intentional community engagement, Coordinators help residents experience belonging, support, and God’s unconditional love.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Event Coordination

  1. Oversee approximately 6–8 programs, with 1–2 monthly events per program.
  2. Plan and execute event logistics, including scheduling, communication, vendors, and onsite support.
  3. Ensure programs are organized, engaging, and aligned with Apartment Life standards.

Schedule & Compensation
  1. $23/hour
  2. Minimum: 10 hours/week
  3. Maximum: 19 hours/week
  4. Schedule varies based on program needs and may include evenings and weekends.
  5. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Nashville metro area and suburbs are required.
  6. Hours should be used efficiently based on program needs, complexity, travel, and community requirements.
Required Qualifications
